Scootababy Baby Carrier

The Scootababy™ Baby Carrier is a uniquely designed Hip Carrier that allows you to carry your child comfortably and hands free. It is natural to carry your child on your hip, however the position that parents tend to adopt - with one hip kicked out to the side to support your child's weight - can lead to back and pelvis pain. The Scootababy solves this problem, allowing you to remain upright with the carrier comfortably supporting your child's weight close to your body, minimising any strain on your spine, back muscles and pelvis. Your child gets a great view of the world while still being able to have face-to-face conversations.

Features of the Scootababy Hip Carrier

• Suitable from when your child can hold their head independently, usually around 4-6 months (minimum weight 12lbs) The Scootababy weight limit is 37lbs/17kg
• Great for the newly walking child who regularly wants to be carried
• Designed for a hip (side) carry but can also be used on the front and back. The front carry can be used for breastfeeding
  
• Can be used on either the left or right hip with no adjustments to the carrier necessary
  
• Lightly padded shaped seat which is supportive and comfortable for your child
• The shoulder is made from stretchy fleece which moulds around your shoulder without restricting arm movement
• Wide padded waistbelt which is adjustable to fit waist sizes from 19 inches up to 50 inches so will fit most people
  
• Padded sliding section on the waist belt can be placed on the opposite hip for comfort (this can be removed to allow the waist belt to be adjusted to its smallest size)
• The buckles on the shoulder strap are easily adjusted with one hand
• When not in use, the Scootababy folds up small

• Made in the US from Polartec® fleece, 100% cotton chino twill, quilted microfiber lining, performance EVA foam
• Spot cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended and only machine wash if necessary. Machine wash separately on cold, delicate cycle with mild detergent, no fabric conditioner. Air dry flat. Do not iron fleece.
• The Scootababy carrier conforms to European safety standard BS EN 13209-2:2005
