 * These guidelines come from the manufacture of each carrier and, while you may find you can use the carrier outside of these, no responsibility is taken for comfort or safety if you do so. Positions possible in a woven wrap may depend on the length of the wrap

** Although the forward facing with legs out position is possible in wraparound carriers and many soft carriers, some manufacturers do not recommend it due to concern about the development of babies' hips and spine and the information below reflects this. We recommend that this position is only used infrequently and for short periods of time for the comfort of both parent and child.
