About Big MamaBig Mama Slings is the result of two women's passion for slings and baby wearing. Both of us benefited from using slings and baby carriers with our own children, and see Big Mama Slings as a great way to help other families benefit too! Becky set up Big Mama Slings in 2004 - she is the original Big Mama, as it were. She set up the UK Sling Sellers Consortium in 2010 and has worked with manufacturers and retailers in the industry in promoting the safety side of baby wearing. Becky has four children, all of whom were happiest in a sling. Catherine is in charge of customer support and the technical side
of the Big Mama website. As well as being a busy mother of three, she runs the
Hereford Sling Meet and consultancy services for Big Mama in the Hereford area.
Catherine is the creator of the TICKS guidelines for babywearing safety. She is
an experienced consultant and has helped many families find their perfect sling
- or get their existing sling working right. She is also an SEO genius, and
offers her services on a freelance basis to small and medium-sized business -
