The Lifft baby sling is the only sling to be scientifically proven to improve your posture whilst carrying your little one. The sling carries your little one at your centre of gravity, which encourages you to stand up straight and the hip carrying position means we no longer need to 'kick' out our hips to support our toddlers. Lifft baby carrier frees your hands and saves your back, which is important following childbirth when our tummy muscles cannot support our spines sufficiently.
Newborns can be breastfed discretely and easily in the sling once they are in the ‘Front Lifft’ position by gently moving the inner rail down below the breast. Baby can also be fed in the ‘rugby hold’ by moving the sling and baby across the body and under the opposite arm. Older babies can also feed whilst in the hip carry. If the baby is out of the sling, the sling can be placed gently over a feeding child for discrete nursing.
The Lifft sling is suitable for toddlers as well as newborns - same sling, just different positions. The Lifft sling has been professionally tested and approved for up to 35lbs in weight. It complies with the requirements for BS EN 13209-2:2005.
