Big Mama’s Hire Shop Terms and Conditions

Postage and packing

Unless stated otherwise, all items are shipped Royal Mail Special Delivery. Shipping is included in the hire price. We regret that we cannot hire outside the UK.

Pricing

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Please note all prices quoted include postage within the UK, unless otherwise stated. The cost of returning the slings to us is NOT included in the hire charge.

Legal

Every care has been taken to describe items as accurately as possible, however slight variations may occur with colour reproduction or text descriptions. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights. Big Mama Slings cannot be held liable for the content of any 3rd party links.

Big Mama Slings is fully insured for both product and public liability. All our hire slings are bought new and come complete with instructions and additional information where applicable. We will also supply you with packaging to return the sling to us. Slings are regularly replaced to ensure that they remain in excellent condition and are inspected on dispatch and return.

Payment

Payment can be made via the following methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer
  • Postal Order
  • Personal Cheque

Please note that your items will be dispatched as soon as we receive cleared payment.

Delivery Information

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of receiving payment. If your order will be delayed for any reason we will contact you and refund payment should you wish. Special order items that need to be obtained from our suppliers will take longer to dispatch; we will keep you notified of estimated delivery times.

Return of Slings

All slings are to be returned in a clean and complete condition. If you are provided with a video or disk, please ensure these are sent back to us with all the packaging. Please follow the manufacturer’s washing guidelines. Please DO NOT tumble dry slings as this often causes damage and/or shrinkage; slings should be line dried.

You are responsible for returning the sling to us; please use a method which ensures that the delivery company will reimburse the full value of the sling(s) should they become lost or damaged in transit. We send all slings out via Royal Mail Special Delivery and strongly suggest you do the same. Please keep all paperwork for the delivery until we inform you the sling has returned safely to us.

Deposit Return

Deposits will be refunded in full once the sling has been returned to us in a satisfactory condition.

Late Returns

Please note that slings are due back to us 2 weeks from the day you receive them, plus an extra couple of days for return postage. Overdue hires will be charged £5 per week in additional rental costs. Please contact us if you wish to extend your hire as we are always happy to help out.
