Babyhawk Mei Tais are a modern version of the traditional Chinese baby carrier made in California, USA. The carrier hugs your child close and their weight is supported by your whole body making it comfortable to carry even heavy babies and toddlers for hours at a time. I bought this carrier when my son was about 4/5 months old and it has changed my life!! It is fantastic - so easy to use, easy to wash, easy to store, every parent should own one. I have used it almost daily and even though my son is now a 28lb toddler we both still love it and find it very comfortable. I use front and back carries and can get on with the most vigorous(!)of household jobs completely confident that he is secure and happy. My only slight criticism would be that I think I would rather the waist strap was either padded or slightly wider but it is only a tiny niggle!! Top marks for the babyhawk!! I just wish I had one in every colour!!!!

I bought a Babyhalk Mei Tai carrier a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it! It's really easy to put on, super comfortable and my 3 month old loves it. I wore it for a couple of hours the first time and didn't feel any aching or discomfort in my shoulders or back. (I've only tried the front-carry so far.)
The head support is comfy and even when it's not folded down it allows baby to move her head and look around.
I also like the fact that it's reversible - I wear it with the patterned side outwards but my husband prefers the plain side...
Highly recommended.
