Ring Slings
Choose It can seem a daunting task choosing
the right ring sling for you and your baby, although the basic design
is the same in all ring slings. Available in a variety of designs and fabrics, our range has
something
to cover all tastes and budgets. There is
some
variation in shoulder design and some slings offer a pocket on the
tail as well. Washing
instructions
will vary from sling to sling and if machine washing and quick drying
is of
importance to you we recommend choosing a cotton or linen ring sling. Use Ring Slings are a wonderfully versatile choice for your family, allowing both parents to usually share the same sling and also offering comfort to your baby from birth through toddlerhood. Babies can be carried in a variety of positions with this style of sling, including an upright carry from newborn, and easily moved from one position to another if needed for feeding or naps. All the slings we sell will arrive with written instructions, while some manufacturers offer DVD instructions as well. Our Using a Sling page has a section on Ring Slings directing you to other instructions and tips on the web. Brands: Ellaroo, Maya Wrap, Storchenwiege, Sakura Bloom, Rockin' Baby, Bara Barn |

Design Ring Slings are a one-shoulder baby carrier based on the traditional slings of South America. They are simply
a loop of fabric with rings attached at one end, through which you
thread the other end, much like a belt. The width of the fabric creates
a 'pouch' for your baby to either lie or sit in and the 'tail' section
which hangs down is used to tighten and adjust the sling around your
baby. All the slings we sell use industry standard sling rings which have
been tested
for safety extensively.
